Test Format - Listening (40 Q), Reading (40 Q), Writing (2 Tasks), Speaking (3 Parts)
Two Versions - Academic (for higher education) and General Training (for immigration)
Both the versions have the same Listening and Speaking sections but differ in Reading and Writing
Book a Test through 2 ways - British Council or IDP

1. The Official Cambridge Guide to IELTS - written by IELTS exam writers
contains different types of questions in each section,
study tips and test tips.
8 practice tests
2. The Book you get through Post after registering for your Test.
3. Cambridge IELTS Series - These contain 4 authentic practice tests
Practise atleast the recent 4 Series. For example, current series is 12. So practise Series 9-12.
From Series 11, there are different books for General and Academic. Prior to Series 11 (1-10), there are 4 Academic Tests and 2 Tests for General Training (Reading and Writing) in each book.
